Slow Progress

I'm finally feeling 100% again. Some of my time is being applied to the shop area and so the shield maidens are progressing slowly. 

Painting female flesh tones is something I'm not use to. I have to admit it is challenging. 

Shield Maidens

Just getting over a really bad bought of flu. Ugh. Happy to be able to sit and do something!  I decided to finish a full SAGA unit of 8 shield maidens. Here's a couple of photos of the start. 

New Years brings Black Ops

Decided to just game on New Year's Day. We broke out some of my son's fantastic modern figures and used the new rules set "Black Ops". 

It was our first game so it took a little while to figure out the rules. 

We played the stealth mission: The Raid. 

Special forces are using blinds to move in close. 

Taking casualties!

The street was swept by the Seal team. 

Building cleared. 

Run away!!!

Time to leave! 

All but one tango eliminated and no casualties taken by the special forces team. It's a shame that I was on the losing side😉
